Restore your pavers and stop erosion, discoloration, and fading.
Concrete pavers have become very popular for outdoor hardscapes, driveways, patios, sidewalks and outdoor kitchens. Although pavers are very hard and durable, like unsealed concrete they are extremely porous, making them vulnerable to oil stains, spills, moisture related problems and weeds growth in the joints. Unsealed pavers can also quickly fade and loose their color, making them look worn and tired.
Maintaining the look and luster of your pavers is essential to your landscaping. Beautiful pavers will add a whole new dimension to your outdoor area and with just a little bit of maintenance your pavers can last a lifetime.
Maintaining your pavers can be as simple as sealing them. Sealing them can address their vulnerability and also enhance and restore their color and beauty.
Our paver sealing process prevents your pavers from losing their rich luster and because most newer paver sealers include an additive that will harden the joint sand, it is less likely that you will have settling or shifting caused by joint sand loss.
Our expert cleaning and sealing technique will also restore the original sheen to old, unclean, and fading pavers, even though it's essential to seal pavers as soon as possible following installation. The sealing process is the last stage in a multi-step procedure.
We start every paver sealing process by pressure washing and cleaning the pavers, to remove any dirt, dust and oils.
Once the pavers are clean we leave them to fully dry, before moving onto spraying and roll the sealer for an even coverage.
As the sealer soaks deep into the sand joint, it hardens and locks the sand into a solid mass that cannot wash away or grow weeds.
Once the sealer has been applied, you should allow 4 hours before you walk on your pavers and 48 hours before you drive or park your vehicle on them.
